For Moxy Darmstadt, Marriott wanted a hotel that feels energetic, youthful and unmistakably itself, rooted in the city’s inventive and international character.
Moxy Darmstadt sits at the crossroads of the city and the main station, a lively threshold where travellers, students and locals drift together.
Framed by universities, tech hubs and the European Space Operations Centre, the hotel embraces a mindset of curiosity and motion. It is designed for guests who like their ease with a sense of spark, a place where comfort arrives with character.

The heart of the hotel is its bright, open lobby, a lively hangout that blends lounge, bar and workspace into one fluid experience. Bold colours, tactile materials and contemporary furniture create an atmosphere that feels inviting, unexpected and a little mischievous.
Signature Plug & Meet Zones bring the social rhythm to life: ergonomic seating, writable walls and large screens that shift effortlessly from casual chat to creative collaboration. It’s a lobby that stays light, flexible and always ready for the next idea.
