Tribute Hotel + Den Bosch
About the project
Drawn from the city, shaped by the river
In the modern Paleiskwartier district of 's‑Hertogenbosch, connected to the historic city centre by the iconic Paleisbrug, The Den, 's‑Hertogenbosch, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel stands as a new landmark. The building is recognizable by the striking artwork of human figures climbing across its façade.
As the first upscale hotel in the city from Marriott International’s Tribute Portfolio collection, it brings an international hospitality concept to Den Bosch. The design reflects the flowing character of the rivers that run through the city, connecting urban life, history and landscape in one continuous gesture.

Where water meets copper
Water weaves itself through the interior in colour, texture and subtle detail, setting a gentle rhythm that guides movement without demanding it. Organic shapes and fluid lines echo the forest that once grew here, while layered tones of blue and green settle the spaces into a calm, natural atmosphere. Copper accents bring warmth and depth, quietly honouring the nearby Paleisbrug and tying the story of the hotel back to the heritage of the city.
The result is an environment that invites wandering and reflection in equal measure. A place where material, light and form come together with ease, creating a stay that feels rooted, expressive and unmistakably connected to its surroundings.
