Never boring beige
The building, originally designed by Dutch architect Carel Weeber, is defined by its pixelated façade composed of blue ceramic tiles.
Instead of leaving the blue and the tiles at the façade, we brought them inside, reworking them in different colours so the building’s pixelated identity carries through into the interior.
The building itself is already such a bold architectural statement so playing it safe with a boring beige interior simply wasn’t an option for us.

Patterns of sleep
In the bedrooms, the restaurant and the bar, we leaned into aubergine, burgundy and earthy tones to create a calm counterbalance to the hotel’s more expressive use of colour.
We designed a carpet that flows continuously through the rooms and the hallway, acting as a unifying element that guides movement and connects the different spaces into a cohesive whole.
The meeting rooms
With several versatile meeting rooms that can be adapted for board meetings, workshops, presentations, or social events, each space embraces TRIBE’s bold yet refined design language.
From intimate boardrooms to larger multifunctional spaces, the interiors are crafted to balance aesthetic clarity with practical flexibility. Whether hosting a brainstorming session or a larger gathering, the design elevates the environment.
